U8 Cosmos · Pre-season friendly
Cosmos back in action against Polar FC U9s
Sunday 30 August 2026
The Cosmos returned to pre-season action today with a fantastic friendly against Polar FC U9s.
After a few weeks away from match action, the boys settled straight back into playing together. The teamwork, communication and confidence were brilliant, and it was great to see the continued training and pre-season activities really showing in their football.
Even more impressive — the boys were playing a year up against U9 opposition.
Beyond the football, this little group just keeps getting closer. The friendships, confidence and team spirit developing between them are every bit as important as what happens on the pitch.
A massive thank you to Polar FC U9s for a brilliant, competitive game played in the right spirit.
“Great performance today. The teamwork was brilliant throughout, especially playing a team a year up. Their keeper had a great game and kept them in it at times and our defensive work was brilliant too.”
“Brilliant game, lads! Competitive throughout, plenty of goals and a well-deserved draw.”
Up the Skippers! One team • One club • One Cosmos
